
Medieval Arezzo was a flourishing, powerful and cultured city. With more than 20,000 inhabitants, it was divided into four quarters and its lively cultural life reached levels of international prestige. During the first week-end of September, you can visit the monuments and churches of the old town and you can also attend the "Giostra del Saracino", a medieval jousting tournment.

3 pm – 5 pm: Guided tour in the historical centre of Arezzo
8.30 pm circa: "propitiation dinner" in one of the four quarter of the town.
